i think a gear indicator would be a great idea for new drivers . especially seeing how the little shift light always has me ending up in 6th doing 60kmh lol . the indicator should flash or do something to help drivers be in a proper crusing gear. and help select a good passing gear . we all learned how to drive stick on our own with our brains, it would be nice to get feedback out of the car to let me know what im doing is right .

Drop into 4th if you wanna pass, drop into 3rd if you wanna fly. At least for me at highway speeds, but I live in Texas, and the speed limit here is faster than most places.

You do realize the sonic has the most power in it's class (other then the FiST) right? Imagine how honda fit, hyundai accent etc. buyers feel...

GM has given the sonic sufficient attention especially when you compare how they treated the aveo. No we do not have a 200 hp model. That's because the 1.4 turbo is more then sufficient for the sonic chassis.

It is the slowest of all the "sporty" looking hatchbacks. That's the problem. It looks like it should fly, and behind the wheel it's fun, but stock it's not winning any races.

One thing i've noticed on these forums though is that the only people who complane about the RS are people who own lower models. It sounds like buyers remorse.

I think more people would have bought an RS if it were actually fast. If it could put all these douche bags with their Cobalt SS' to shame then it would be worth it. But the RS is a body kit and worse gas mileage.
