ok thanks bro for the info. opcorn: but lets just say it is 16. would i double the rate?? or just go up to like 20lb - 26lb??

the actual rate for the sonic is 19.4lb/hr

FLOWRATE = (horsepower x brake specific fuel consumption) / (# injectors x maxcycle)

(138x0.45)/(4x0.80)= 19.4lb/hr

MAXIMUM HP on stock fuel injectors = (flow rate x # injectors x maxcycle) / brake specific fuel consumption

(19.40 x 4 x 0.08)/0.45 = 137.95=138 Chevy Sonic stock hp!!!!

But with these calculations its a plug and play with numbers to decide ur max HP and FLOWRATE

I am going to go the turbo route. And i dont feel left behind... but i do believe are vendors need to show a lil more love for us. and hell maybe one of are vendors can help with a turbo uprgrade. If DDM can make a turbo..i will drive 4 hrs..Just saying

Excellent math. I was just boning up on my injector flow math today on my lunch break from my Performance Turbo Book.

I saw in your build thread that you did an intake mod and have exhaust on the way. Once you get her breathing good, the higher flowing injectors and tune should get you some decent hp gains. 10-15% gain, I would think. So maybe 15-20 horses!!!

Thanks Preloader trifecta tune will add 20hp plus what ever this will be. i can prolly get the 1.8 to about 195 hp without a turbo
