Ambient Outside temp is off?

My ambient temp thing is off on my radio it says its always like 100 and over up to 150... I did hit my car in the front when i first got it maybe it was knocked off into the engine so its reading engine temps im not sure but I have no idea how it looks or where it is located lol i tried going to dealer but they give me a harder time about it

The censor is somewhere by the grille. You're probably right about hitting something.

Try a different dealer and see if they are more receptive to your issue.

Passenger side. To avoid confusion. I realize front right sounded like facing the front of the car. I derped on that one, my bad.

Update: i see the hole for the sensor but its not there the hole is eamty so om gussing its fallen inside somewere

How to get to the sensor

My outside temperature sensor was not plugged back in when the bumper was repaired. I have the loose wire and plug dangling inside and I can see the sensor from the outside. How do you get behind the grill to plug it in?

You go back tot he dealer that made the repair and you have them plug it back in.

That isn't an option.

Not sure why but OK...... Other option is remove your bumper and plug it in yourself or go without knowing the ambient temp in your car.

Here is another thread in your same problem and sounds like bumper removal is only option.
