Are Seat-Covers Recommended?

Those ARE pretty nice. My dog's drool gets everywhere in the car. Primarily the backs and sides of the front seats and the fabric is getting harder and harder to get clean. I am either going to put a mesh divider to keep him further back or I need to cover the seats.

Too bad they are pricey.

I can't believe there isn't even anything on Amazon that will accommodate the driver side armrest as far as even a universal seat cover.

Idk I don't think they are that bad of a price for what you are getting. Theyre custom fit, look good, easy to clean, and preserve the factort seats. They'll pay themselves off over time. That's just my opinion though.

Hey guys I stumbled upon this, what y'all think? It's hard to find a seat cover that accommodates the arm rest.

It seems to me that at it would be simple enough to unbolt the armrest, install the seat cover of your choice, cut a small hole to accommodate the armrest, and then reattach the armrest through that hole. There do appear to be enough options that do accommodate the side curtain airbag, which is the more important consideration.

I had custom covers made at a local seat cover place. They don't normally make them for a Sonic but they might still have the pattern from my car. I got them for the Sonic because I work in construction and the dirt and sawdust gets everywhere I put this same brand on my truck probably 10 -15 yrs ago and still haven't worn them out. No they aren't cheap.
