Bad oil leak

So just got off the phone with one of the guys and he said they can't spot an oil leak, but I went through 3/4's of my oil in under 6 weeks with out even putting 1500 miles on the car. I'm not to happy at this point but they are still looking at this point and will get back to me later

I had a Aveo and it was leaking oil. So I took it in they said it was fine. Lifted it a few days later and it was leaking again. Took it back they said it was just the oil filter. So a few days later I lifted it again and still leaking so I traded it in for them lying to me. Not saying they all are liars, but you never know.

The guy at the dealership talked to me like I was a little kid. He told me "your oil is perfectly fine and there is oil in the car as long as there is some on the dipstick".

Then he said that the oil in the car is long lasting and should last up to 6k which I have 1500 on right now. On the status sheet it said the car was full of oil. When I called last night they told me to top it off so it wouldn't burn out the engine if I had to drive it.

How did they break your antenna were they using it to check your oil? Are you sure it is oil and not something else or from a different vehical. The oil filter is internal and sits up on top of the motor on the driverside front .

My car is the only one in the garage do it was defiantly from my car, and I have no idea they said it was when they were "washing" my car but they "washed" it again after the put the new one on. Air quotes because it looks worse than where it came in

So after it sat in the garage overnight there is defiantly a leak of some sort, I didn't use my ac at all yesterday and there was still an oily water leak under the car

So back to Chevy we go

Soak up some of the fluid with a paper towel, put it in a plastic bag and let them look at it.:sadbanana:

I'm dumb to not think of that. It sucks cuz I need my car and since I'm not 21 I can't get a rental >.> and they will probably look at it for another 5 hours

They need to put you in a rental until this issue is resolved.

They said they can not for legal reason blah blah blah, it's funny I can buy my own car when I'm 18, but can't get a rental car

And even it is because of air conditioning, I don't think that should be leaking if it hasn't been used in 20+ hours

Cardboard under the car will also works.If it was from the ac it would be water and would dry up.may be worth the trip to a different dealer.And if you still have a leak get GM involved.

Read the thread up to now, and I was just wondering if your leak problem ever got resolved.
