I have been using Mobil1 Extended Performance 5W-30 in all of my GM vehicles for many years: I trust the quality and performance of this lubricant.

NAPA synthetic is not Dexos certified.

NAPA "says" it exceeds Dexos specs.

If you have an oil related problem, GM could deny you warranty coverage.

Do you want to see if NAPA will buy you a new engine?

There are plenty of Dexos certified oils available. I would use them first before an oil that "claims" to exceed the spec.

Valvoline/Napaoline must have paid the fee they now say Dexos Approved on there full synthetic oil.

Napa full synthetic oil now say dexos approved GM must have got there fee from Valvoline.

Last time I checked ... Pennzoil seemed to be pretty highly rated on Bob the oil guy.
