I'd suggest just doing this: Blow Off Valves Mythbusted - YouTube
So you would need a duel port BOV to get the woosh and to keep the check engine light off . Right ?
TURBOSMART didn't have the answer to that too?
Dont know, didnt finish reading.
LOL
Ha Ha hell!
If you're going to copy and paste from a website, at least reference it
Forgot to, no biggie!
TURBOSMART: How does a BOV work?
Cool, so a little off topic, but with the tune, can it be retuned down the line, as more mods are done and what will it cost to be tuned again?
Where is the factory by-pass valve located?
it's connected to the exhaust manifold
I thought the object of the BPV was to bleed off excess boost before it reaches the throttle body when you lift off the gas. How does it help if it is connected to the exhaust manifold? I know in some turbo set-ups the wastegaste is connected to the exhaust manifold to control boost levels, but I know that is not the case here. Here, I can see the actuator controlling a valve right on top of the turbo. I tried to trace the incoming charge tube between the intercooler output and throttle body but I could not find it.
