I searched around but did not find any info on this. I have TWO 2015 Sonic hatchbacks, an LT and an LTZ ... well, OK, I won't own the LT until tomorrow.
I listen to audio books stored on my android phone, connected to the Sonic's sound system by blue tooth.
The LTZ has the enhanced entertainment system (with the larger screen, see 1st pic). It works great - no problems.
But the LT I'm looking at has the smaller radio (see 2nd pic) and has this volume issue. While the reader is speaking, it's fine. But when the reader pauses for a moment to take a breath or for effect, the volume automatically lowers dramatically. Then when the speaking starts speaking again, the volume is turned back up, but not fast enough - the first word or 2 spoken is barely audible as the volume comes back up.
Music is played at a steady volume - probably because pauses are rare - there's usually sound during the entire song.
Weird, eh? Anyone have any ideas about this? I'm trying to figure if this is a known problem, or if it is just this particular radio. If the later, I'd ask the dealer to fix it before I buy the LT ...
Thanks
