Bluetooth not working with any phone

Hi everyone,

When I try to pair my sonic 2012 with any of my phone, on the radio I will go up to the point providing a code and telling me to add it in my phone. However, on none of my phones (galaxy s3, s5, and iphone 5) can I scan and see 'my car' or basically anything that would come from the car. Since all my phones can pair bluetooth with other devices, I suppose it's the car radio not emiting any bluetooth signal. Is there an easy fix for it?

Sometimes it takes a while to show up in the list of pairable devices. If you had it paired before, make sure to delete it. Otherwise I don’t know what to tell you.

The longest I've been waiting with the screen of ''please enter those 4 numbers'' was half an hour. Feels like there's something preventing the car's bluetooth signal of being transmitted to other devices

Try removing the glovebox and holding your phone next to the Bluetooth device on the car. If it still doesn’t connect, it’s probably a faulty module. Before I even bought my car, the module was replaced, which is what Onstar said when I activated the free 3 years
