Doh! Had I known I could have had HP+ by this weekend I would have done that, but the greenstuffs just showed up today. I heard the greenstuffs only last a couple track days so I may be ordering HP+ in just a few months....or when that new rear sway comes around.

Sonic24740 pretty much explained it, but the HP plus usually take a little more heat in them to get to operating temp, but can take a lot more heat before fading. Also, sometimes the HP plus will make some noise, were the HPS are nice and quiet.

Dave, I have had the j hook rotors on my car since winter. I never heard any noises but now that it's summer, I have the windows down more. The pads sweeping the j hook rotors make a constant tap tap tap noise that seems to go away when I apply the brakes. Is this normal? I searched around on Google and it seems like extra noise is common with this type of rotor.
