im sorry, and its probably already been said, but any tuner that says there is no way they can accurately correct for an intake, is a garbage tuner. an air intake is one of the easiest things to tune for, so if this guy can't even do that, he's retarded
... it's not as easy as you'd think to recalibrate the MAF correctly. It's tedious and needs dyno time. Which is why trifecta offers the 'ECP' workaround so they don't need to dyno and recalibrate all the random friggin things we put in our cars. It's completely brilliant if you ask me, I just want more insight into what they're doing. no satisfaction :blankface:
This VTuner guy is going by the book, is what he's doing. It's 'safer' to use the SAB, less dirt/oil on the MAF assembly, and it requires more calibration if using something farther from stock, potentially running cats hot for a while during calibration. But to me, sorry, why the heck is he in the business if he can't do what he's meant to do. SAB tune is for garage tuners like me :banana:
