Cat-Back Question

I noticed on your site you list several options for the Cat-Back system, but I don't see a no resonator with muffler option. Is it available? Also what is the setup used on the white Sonic in the clip?

I believe the you tube DDMWorks Sonic has resonator, test pipe and no muffler.

does not appear to be an option for the 1.4, i dont know the diff in exhaust systems on the 1.8 and 1.4 but the option for no res + muff is on the 1.8 as thats what i have.

There are several different options that we can do for the Sonic hatchbacks right now. From testing what we have found to be the "best" setups is:

1.4 turbo - resonator only (this is what is on the video with the white car)
1.8 NA - muffler only, no resonator

We can also do:

1.4/1.8 with Resonator and muffler - this option still flows really well, but is really quiet.

1.4/1.8 with no resonator and no muffler - not suggested if you like your neighbors

i love my exhaust i got, and its not loud enough to get my dog shot. went with the recommended muffler on 1.8.

That was back in March. I just didn't want to start another thread about what size resonator and muffler DDM uses on its cat back. Trying to keep the forum gods happy.

I have the DDMWorks exhaust and it is based on components from Solo Performance. I do not have the muffler. The resonator is quite small compared to the OEM, and looks about 12-14" in length and much smaller in circumference.

The system got kudos from the Rodgers Chevrolet techs for its looks as well as its sound.
