I ordered the performance suspension Sunday and the order was cancelled last night advising out is out of stock for GM with no date for restock.
I was planning on running my Eibach springs with this set-up, dam!

For the front I believe it's necessary. I had my dealership take care of it for me though, so I didn't get to witness first hand.I see a lot of folks ordering this suspension kit, but only one person advised needing the spring compressor. I've done other suspensions without. Any more input?

You can do it yourself with the right tools, it's super easy. I work for a dealership so it was convenient and cheap. Thanks for the input, K-Jam. I didn't seem to find that write up you promised, but instead, I noticed Crate Engine Depot has an instruction manual on the product page for the GMP kit. It seems to show the spring compressor 'style'. Now I'll try to find one.
Does anyone else have any experience doing this themselves? I refuse to take the car to a dealership unless absolutely necessary.
Also, are you guys still pleased with the amount of drop from the GMP kit? Do you yearn for more drop or is it juuuust right?
In the past, you could call up Koni and speak with their engineering team. I would ask for what combinations they used when finalizing valving design on a specific dampening setup.
Just a heads up to the guys that are looking to grab this kit
23158161 - $467.50 shipped within the US from me if you're interested.
GM shows in stock shipping directly from the manufacture, so ship times might be up to 4-6 business days but I can get it done.
