To clarify a little, I had far more KR than is acceptable, huge fuel economy drop (29 highway), no real gain in power over a stock program, had a hard time getting issues addressed. Each update sent back to me was worse than the previous. Keep i mind that I was told it all looks good from the beginning.
I data logged with HPT and was able to actually see what was going on. I find 10-12* of KR across the entire pull to be unacceptable, yet somehow this was all good. The car was getting so slow that at one point a 1.0L Metro was quicker to 45 than my car. I am not exaggerating that. That was the day Iwent back to a stock program.
PLaying with HPT now I do see slightly lower reported TQ values than I did with the canned tune, but who knows how accurate those numbers are. The same company, but two different people, told me that they are very accurate and that they cant be trusted at all.
With my limited HPT experience and at the time a more restrictive exhaust my car managed to run a whole 0.1 seconds slower in the 1/4 mile at a much worse track. I suspect the canned tune was doing more harm than good.

Can any of you guys recommend a gurgle type exhaust that does not drone at all or very little at highway speeds for 1.4t? I have a tune, but its a DD and also I'm over 50 and married I don't need a rice rocket sort of fart can sound, the Borla I heard on Youtube review sounded pretty good. Just wanted to hear more engine to make it more fun when shifting up through gears and downshifting 6Mt.

Not sure what a gurgle exhaust sound is but I am quite happy with the DDM catback which I am running with a resonator and without a muffler. The ZZP versions I have heard in person have a somewhat lower sound than my set up but I have not heard them on the road at speed so I can not say for certain if it would or would not have disturbing drone.
As to lowering springs, I had Pedders on my LT and noticed no roughness. I ran with OEM RS springs for a few thousand miles and found the ride very similar to the LT on Pedders. I now have Eibach lowering springs and do not feel they offer too rough a ride but can say there are a few areas (such as I96 about ten miles east of Grand Rapids) where the pavement can give more feedback than needed and neither the Pedders or the OEM RS set up did.
If you are changing exhaust but not intake you do not need to tune but I highly recommend using premium fuel whether tuned or not. It is the single most effective mod you can do.
Ferrari just won the Malaysian GP courtesy of Sebastian Vettel so it appears all is now right in my world. (My editorial for the week so no response is needed.) Corvette Racing success at Sebring last week certainly helped.

No regrets on my 14 rs... yet.
I haven't really used the ultragauge much. My wife drives the car mostly, so I keep it unhooked because of that. I'll put it back in for longer drives and probably after a few mods

No regrets on getting the RS. Although I have wished for that higher gear ratio on long drives.
