if they do go on ill be running a 215 or 225 tire stretched influenced by my volkswagen driving friends but im not so sure they will fit i need to find time to get them test fitted

I really like the rims on the new C6 corvettes. Especially the ZR1 wheels. But the chances of those fitting the Sonic are dismal.

Yeah, I posted in another thread after looking at them. 335/25x19 would be proper diameter, but a full 5 inches too wide. You'd need some sweet box flares.:banana:

I like the late Z06 spyder wheels. Several places have 17X8.5 with a 56mm offset.

LOL @ the salad shooters. At 9+ inches wide, 35mm offset, plus the extra 19mm spacing of a bolt pattern adapters... you'll need to bolt on some Bushwacker flares.

Yea, if you're in love with 'em the only prayer would be to have someone machine-adjust the offset, or put on some 105/45's, lol!

While looking for wheels my buddy told me he would sell me his salad shooters.

The "Base" c4's came with 16x8.5 wheels +32 offset.

I understand i'd need adapters but i would assume this would run pretty flush?
Or am i lying to myself..

With adapters your offset will greatly change so no...if the wheels could have been re-drilled then they would be almost perfect .

Ah I completely forgot about the adapters width.. I even said I needed them but didn't think.. That would bring the offset down to +12 which would be hard to fit.. My mistake

The wheels I currently have are almost exactly the same as c6 z06 wheels.
