What happened? Don't they have to tell you why they are pulling you over??
Got a question.. So when you press the alarm button on your key 1 time that bubble on your dash stays red but when you press the alarm button 2 times it honks and then that thing flashes red every 10 seconds.. just curious but what does pressing the alarm button 1 or 2 times do? does pressing it one time set the alarm as it does pressing it two times?
Called my local dealer, the lady said pressing once locks the doors and arms the alarm, and that the honk is just letting you know it's armed. I asked about the red dash light and she still said pressing once is enough.
I'll probably still keep pressing it twice though. lol
If I'm walking away and don't feel like visually confirming that it arms by seeing the flashers blink with my eyes. I push twice so I can audibly confirm that it arms by hearing the horn with my ears.![]()
Quite a range with the remote I might add.
Holy sh*t yeah. No problem finding my car in parking lots, just repeatedly press the lock button.
I was told to slow it down about 5 MPH after they took my license, asked me my name (license in her hand), quietly said my name to partner, and then threw my license back in my window. I was going 5 under due to lack of visibility from heavy rain. As the cop was pulling up behind me a Grand Cherokee passed my going at least 10 MPH faster than I was going. SO, I was pulled over for some reason other than what I was told, lied to, left with soaked cloths and interior of the car, and treated rudely when I politely asked if the speed limit was in fact 50 MPH ( I knew it was since I drove that section of road very often). I guess they dont like it when you call them out on their BS, but nothing that can really be done about it. Also, the spot light should be illegal to use until the vehicle is pulled over and stopped. When its dark and they put that ****er through the back window it is almost impossible to see the road to safely pull over.
I like to use this tactic from far away when someone is right beside the car. Hehe.. priceless.
