That is just horrific considering the night I'm having at work.

One night my sister was reading some medical book looking for something and found that and kept saying it and realized what it was and got all disgusted. She was probably 15 at the time.

Well I got pulled over last nite.
Because I had a loud exhaust (passed the cop in 6th gear at 30mph).
I found out while being questioned by task force that he saw me "leave an apartment known for drug trafficking"!!!!

The stupid prick saw me walk from the good part of town devoid of apts, get in my car 100dt from him, again not near apts and drive off.

I happened to pass him coming back from Casey's and he pulled me over.

3 squad cars and a K-9 (I refused a search, always have and will) later I was left with a $120 ticket.

Not bad for an laid off young adult trying to go to school. Oh and it's my hometown and I've been back for a whopping 11 days, This was my 1st "nite" in town.

What a sh!teous welcome home! It's like Mayberry here, the only time anyone gets pulled over is when the out of town trooper decides to camp out.

The sheriff himself told me he can't wait to see how my car turns out.

Was the ticket specifically for exhaust? What a Richard.

Funny thing it was one of the local boys (part time task force) that pulled me over. And he lives 3 miles from where I'm staying (and grew up)

At 1st he was telling me to just get it fixed and not so politely told me "you don't want a $120 ticket DO YA".

I think me refusal of a search pissed him off so he had to show me who's boss and wrote me a ticket specifically for my exhaust and took me license, WTF.

I'm always polite, sincere, and honest when I get pulled over but apparently that means you're guilty of something, especially with a clean driving record.

Same with tints up front. I don't have time to waste getting pulled over for no reason even if I only get a warning, its a waste of time.

My Lincoln used to dump after the first cats. It was hella loud. Never once got pulled over.

i dearly miss my 95 Lincoln towncar 4.6. Air ride went out on it and i eventually got rid of it as a result.

Mine was a 94 mark 8 with the Dohc 4.6. I replaced the first oem air bag at 159k and one other one at 170k the other two where original

That particular cop is one of 3 Dick cops in the town, which has a population of 4,400 people.

1st time I've been bothered for exhaust too, I've had cops in the lane right next to me not bat an idea and they usually have their windows down.
