I don't usually care about pageantry, but a former student of my hubby's is Miss Kansas this year. She's competing for Miss America soon, this girl is probably the most real contestant I've seen. A mechanic, bowhunter, served in the army..

So now I need to buy brazing rod and the size I want is like impossible to find.
I'm going to be brazing 1/4" copper and a tiny capillary tube so I wanted 1/16" 15% wire.
Only thing I can find is 15% 1/8"x0.05" (Harris Stay-silv 15) which seems super common.
Anyone know if that size will work for me or is it going to turn a simple thing into a nitemare? Its the right stuff, just seems a bit large to me.

My AC went out the other day. It blows but only hot air

If the exhaust touched a refrigerant hose and melted a hole in it, than yes.
Otherwise, no.

I do the same thing for air conditioning. I just spent $1K on tools to repair 80 year old refrigerators.
I've got a thing with COLD.
This picture shows the vent output my 1992 pickup had after replacing the compressor, condenser, hoses, pressure switch and switching it to R134A. I had an extreme duty fan clutch just to keep my temps cold in traffic. I also had a slight overcharge for that warm and fuzzy feeling.
This picture was taken with the blower on high, recirculate on sitting still on a 95F day. While my Sonic's AC is ok, it doesn't compete with the modded truck.

Wow that's cold! I rarely use my ac and the one time I needed it boom it's not cold.

The sonic needs a part ordered. Dealer said a rock probably came up and caused a leak. On a lowered car, it is likely my fault but he said he would tell gm that the part is defective. If you need non warranty work done under warranty, wear dress and/or heels lol works every time
