I'm sure that Daddy long legs you killed was simply horrifying![]()
I have those in the crawlspaces and I pretty much ignore them.
The spider in the bathroom though......... I thought it was going to steal our tv!

Probably a wolf spider.
No thanks on the big spiders. When I was in Australia I walked into the room I was staying in to to find a Huntsman scurrying across the wall. I have an extreme dislike for spiders, especially big ones.
Here's what we get down in Florida, Banana Spiders, I have seen them bigger then this one before. They love to build webs across pathways and when you walk out at night you have this huge SOB on your shoulder or head.

Na, Thats not a spida. Now this.......... This is a Spida.
Um. I'm not sure what to say. That would be terrifying, but I found myself laughing with the cinematography. Movies have come a long way since I was born![]()
I also started my pull @ 2500 rpm. It's basically gutless below 1900 rpm though.
All in all I did not think it was to bad for a n/a motor.
1.4 torque on paper is:
148@ 2500 manual
148@ 1850 automatic
Not even close to the 1.8.
I've never understood that.
Both are the same engine so why is one totally different unless the ECM is controlling it to protect things during launch.
It's the way the automatic loads up the engine.
It was the same way with the cummins diesels I had. This is also why I like automatics with turbos.
I'll be honest. I'm not sure. That is just what I have been told.
I'm gonna email a friend and see if he can tell me the technical stuff behind it
