Yeah...
Seems kinda dumb being you are in PA and pump your own gas. And in NJ, most of the people can't read English so it still would be irrelevant.
Except Hess near where I live. All of the Hess stations seem to mainly hire young girls to pump gas. I have no idea why, but I'm certainly not complaining.

Warning - hitting objects with car will hurt
Warning - do not try to stop a chainsaw with genitals

So, I got my hands on a 1930s 16" Canedy-Otto drill press. After some cleaning and remounting the motor it runs pretty nice.

Now I just need something to use it for.

So, I got my hands on a 1930s 16" Canedy-Otto drill press. After some cleaning and remounting the motor it runs pretty nice. Unlike the refrigerators I wasn't after old, but it works and was a good price so what the hell.

Now I just need something to use it for.

I'm thinking about getting an X \ Y type table for it and setting up an endmill in it to see if I can make something, anything, even if it's wrong.

The x/y tables work ok for drilling holes but when using a roughing or sometimes even a finishing end mill, it puts to much lateral stress on the press and prematurely wears out the quill/spindle

That's why you need to use a 1930s-40s drill press.

We have these bad storms moving in right. So I parked the car half way down the driveway (normal to keep it out of the mud when it rains) and as I was walking down to the house, the lightning flashed and I caught something out of the corner of my eye so I shined my flash light to the side and I had a pair of eyes looking back at me and let me tell you.. They where not small.....I normally see like a raccoon or something stupid but these were ****ing massive. Freaked me the **** out

I remember setting up camp in a somewhat remote location in Oklahoma. I was eating a meal when it got dark when I noticed at least 8 pairs of eyes looking at me.

It was just a whole family of hungry 'coons.

In another instance, I had a pack of coyotes circling my camp once. That was unnerving a little. They kept their distance, but were still too close for comfort. I was tracking their movements based on the direction of the howling. The bastards yipped and howled half the night.

I had my 12 gauge with 00buck rounds nearby just in case a few were going to get bold and try to come in.

I have better things to hate. Vast majority of my hate is geared towards stupid drivers that I encounter every day. Maddening in many cases. A small percentage of that hate is gearing towards the stupid Nike ladies' running shorts.
