Why does all 3 of my lights come on when it rains?! This was last week.

And this was today.. Every time I start driving I always turn the knob to turn off my lights but right when it rains all 3 of these lights come on automatically and I look and my headlights and fogs are on.. If I turn them off they stay off.. It's annoying

It's a safety feature. When it rains there is decreased visibility. So the lights come on, not so you can see better, but so other cars can see you better. They come on when you turn your wipers on. Some states even have a law saying that you need to have your lights on when it's raining.

Hmmm.

Your lights should come on if your wipers are running, but not all three. Not sure about fog lights but I'd assume those should be manual and daytime running lights obviously should be off when headlights are on.

The top two should definitely never be on together. The bottom should only come on together with the top. There's no way all 3 would be on at the same time.

I called the dealer and he said that it's absolutely normal and he was like there is 3 green lights in your cluster? I was like yes and he said yea most of there 2014s have a rain sensor and when it detects rain it will turn on all lights for a safety feature and some states by law require it. Then he was like honestly he didint think the sonic would have it but if they all 3 turn on when it rains then mine must have that sensor.

I filled up on Sunday from empty and got in reset all my gauges and realized it still said I was empty, so I turned it off and restarted it with no change. Knowing that I did in deed pump gas I said oh well and went on because I had an appointment. As I drove down the road I noticed that I was up one bar from my fill up and every few minutes it would go up another bar till it said full about 45 minutes into my trip.

Anyone else have this happen or know what causes it?

My rear one does but my front ones I turn on manually

I think there is an option to turn the rear one on, if the front ones are on and you put it in reverse?

Or something like that.

I use my rear one occasionally, but do it manually. I've seen were other members claim they never use the rear wiper but that would drive me nuts. The rear window even with rainx gets to the point you cannot see out of it, especially if its snowing and the roads are salted.

My 06 Grandprix if you were going 50MPH the rear window stayed completely dry. Certainly not the case with the Sonic Hatch.

I have the conversion kit. DRLs auto switch to NRLs at dark. I also blacked out all of the lights on my instrument panel. It's a much cleaner look.

Can anyone recommend a half way decent affordable respirator? I do a lot of work on an old house and sheetrock dust, possible lead paint dust etc is a concern.

I don't need anything crazy like the ability to filter a fart, but something better than a nuisance mask would be great.

This is what I always wore when I was spraying in the cabinet shop but not sure if you want to wear something like it. Binks is a great company and you can buy replacement filters just about any place for a decent price. I found this one for around $70 but I believe they have lesser models.
