Diverter or bigger intercooler?

if you had stock rubber vs aluminum doing the exact same route, aluminum is superior.

this is basically what i was getting at, i am scatter brained though and sometimes forget words etc., but (for example) the rebel auto works charge pipes have a more direct flow while also being aluminum, therefore providing better flow than stock. Attached are a picture of factory charge tubing, and RAW charge pipes

I remember when I told a buddy of mine about how swollen the stock tubes get and he didn't believe me on how much these tubes swelled up under pressure until he witnessed it. He actually thought my lines were going to explode.

My biggest concern with the stock charge pipe tubing is the decrease in diameter in two sections. This not only limits flow but causes turbulence.

We wanted to dyno our car with the charge pipes but didn't see the benefit as we don't have a good baseline and we have many other mods and tuning.

The best way to get power numbers is back to back dyno's with only one change and no tuning. We are currently looking for a stock local RS to test the charge pipes on.

I'm going to have to put my stock injectors in and go back to a stock tune when I do my dyno runs in a few weeks The only thing that won't be stock is the intake manifold since that is ported. I'll also be doing a collective mod dyno run to see my actual peak power on the stock turbo. Just waiting for parts to get shipped. One of those parts i need to get the car back running again. Damn valve covers.
