Door panel help

File under total epic fail and self inflicted stupidity! I had some down time today and was doing some sound deadening to the hatch and door. Well I'm ashamed to say I did not look at the many pictures on this forum on removing the door panel. In the process I damaged the door panel beyond repair.So does anyone know if rear door panels are interchangeable between the hatchback and sedan? Or a boneyard that has a totaled Sonic that ships parts? I found one on Ebay so far. Thanks for any help.

They should be the same, but to co firm you can look up the part number on gmpartsdirect and verify.

What a nightmare I thought Chevy parts were cheap. I was wrong I did also manage to break a couple of door panel and hatchback retainer clips. I went to my local dealer to get replacement they were $4.50 a piece. I did contact a used parts dealer on Ebay they want $125 shipped. GMpartsdirect is $121 plus shipping. Lesson learned bring the laptop out to the car and work and don't lose your temper and work on a car!

1. Have cigarettes or beer handy for when you lose your temper
2. Have a handy vocabulary to swear when you're starting to lose your temper
3. Tools of course
4. Access to forums and the "Google" in case you're about to give up

I don't smoke cigarettes but been would have been a better decision even at 11:00! A very painful one person on Ebay wants $125 delivered gmpartsdirect is $121 plus shipping. Just a bummer all around.
