woo hoo. number one. suprisingly i dont feel special about it.

7.5 is the width i was looking at. what tire are you running? im kinda intrigued by the amount of "ultra high performance all season" tires on the market now like the general gmax as 03.

I could go to a summer tire though, my rs wheels arent really bent, just rashed (havent had them on a balancer yet but ive been over 100 with no vibes) so i may go for snows on them and summers on the new wheels im looking at.

Just a little update. I got all my parts in. Front bumper is painted but I havent had time to put it on yet.

Raced a 2013 fusion titanium awd ecoboost. Beat it by a car or so. I wasnt shifting very fast, skipped 5th, and there was a time I thought he gave up so I let off. That thing stickered over $40k! 2.0 turbo

I kinda started it. I have a bad habit of spotting open windows and purging boost right next to them.

Walked away from a 2010 xb with intake and headerback too. Everyone wanted a piece yesterday

i think i developed a boost leak somewhere. My turbo sound today went from its normal "shhhhhhhh" while spooling to a high pitched whine. I thought my aux cord had a short in it at first, it kinda sounds like alternator whine through a stereo. It doesnt really seem to run any worse. Anyone had this issue?

Well apparently in the accident I managed to poke a hole in the intercooler. The reason the noise got worse is because it bent the intercooler back and started rubbing a hole in the passenger side intercooler hose.

So now I wait for an insurance supplement. Anyone else use an aftermarket intercooler yet? Maybe go a little bigger?
