Eibach pro kit

Kit came in today, hopefully they get around to installation tomorrow. Dealer talked me out of doing it myself. Would have been fun to do. But I did take stock height measurements, and when I pick up the car tomorrow hopefully, I will measure again after I put a few miles on it.

Nothing yet, still checking site daily. I'll give em a call later today to see what the hold up is. They did say early Feb, and its getting close to mid so I am hoping they can at least give me a definite date.

Called em today, still in development, actually have prototypes done. They asked if I lived in SoCal to bring my hatch in for some testing. I told him I'm 3 hours away but would be glad to drive down and drop it off for a few days. Not happening though. But it was worth a good laugh. He's telling me could be a month, but the manager said they are further along than they can see on the computer screen, who knows.

B&G only took 2-3 hours for test fitting on my Sonic... :banana:

To be honest, Eibach tries out a ton of spring rates and tests them fully.
BG does one to 3 sets usually and sees which goes best with the car, most of the time they get it spot on the first try but when it came to the cruze, it took months and multiple fittings.

We like both companies very much, we had one of the first Eibach production test sets on our Cruze, we really liked them a lot. We also have a set of BG springs on a customer car as of last week, we are waiting to hear back from them.

We are keeping a close eye on what is coming out for the Sonic, we have also contacted many companies trying to get new parts as fast as possible.

Just got off the phone with one of the reps and he told me that the design/development stage has been completed but the actual test springs won't be made until late March. He knows I'm interested and he'll contact me sometime in April so in the mean time, I'll just have to wait.

I called into Eibach just now. The development rep's answer was that the springs are in prototyping stage, and production of consumer product is expected to start " in one to two months."

Sounds about right since the last time I spoke to Phoung, I think that's his name, but hopefully he'll get back at me for testing those springs on the Sonic.
