Did you ever attempted to do the swap? Any updates?I am a proud owner of a 1.6 Chevy sonic
I got a great deal on a 2.0 VCDi from a Chevy Cruze...yes i know : Diesel is slow but there's no denial about its torque and i NEED Torque
so is it possible to a straight-swap ? anybody done that? Details please![]()

Diesel
I very much doubt it
At all but you'd probably be better off posting this in the technical forum
But btw torque is not what moves you
Power is
Doesn't matter how much you make unless you make power
Torque is only a momentary force
Power is a measure of energy
If you know physics
You know energy is what moves you
But that said
A larger and more "torquey" engine will make more power down low and better average power overall
