What type of audio equipment is gonna be installed is it going to be something similar to mylink or a double din radio?

August 15
Toyo Tires is now onboard, providing high performance tires.
Kinsey's Custom has started to wrap the seats and the rest of the interior in the Katzkin material.
The Sonic is waiting to go to Prescott for body work and paint.

August 16
Pedders coil-overs will ship tomorrow, and more audio goodies have been shipped as well.
Prescott Autobody is currently painting the 3d carbon kit, and the Sonic will be going in for paint soon as well, then it's off to the Auto Doctorz for suspension work.
The interior will then be reinstalled, followed by the audio install by Audio Adrenaline.
Still waiting on the XXR wheels, which will also need to be powder-coated.

Looks like the Sonic is getting work done.

August 20
The Sonic was dropped off at Prescott Autobody this morning, and if all goes to plan, a newly painted Sonic will emerge from it's doors soon. Prescott has finished painting the ground effects kit, and is ready to install it once the car is painted.
The shark fin antenna from Bad News Racing arrived today as well, and is also painted to match the rest of the car.
More audio goodies should be arriving soon, as well as the Pedders equipment.
The new XXR wheels and Toyo tires should arrive around the end of the month.

Here's Roger's response, via email.

Tell labor-smith no on pressure as I'm use to that on every SEMA build. If I really wanted to feel pressure, I would of went after a 2013 RS, and then would of most likely got that vehicle two weeks before SEMA. Been there done that why I took a 2012.

For those of you who don't know, he's been doing SEMA builds for a few years now.

Quick update. All suspension work done brakes, exhaust, wheels/tires, intake, coil-overs, etc. Looks super cool & on top of that I must say Pedders coil-overs not only look cool, but I can not believe handling. I've used coil-overs on other SEMA projects, but no way as easy to have installed and again most of all the handling at extremly high speeds. Big thumbs up to Pete and his company :banana:

On another note, GM will be here tomorrow to check on build & shoot pre-SEMA pictures. With our upgrades to turbo big difference in power. Nitrous will be installed next week and will easy be over 300 H.P. range. Hope to have dyno done before SEMA depending on time. If not have it done after SEMA. Now just need sound system & interior finished up & then will be good to go for SEMA.

Got an email from Roger this afternoon.
There isn't much to update on, just a few minor things to be done at this point.
Apparently Jet Performance has come on board to provide a performance chip. (Not sure how I feel about that one.)

The chip and nitrous will be installed Monday. He hopes to get it dyno'd before SEMA, but time will be tight, so it will most likely not be dyno'd until after.

Once again, as per Roger's request, NO pictures will be posted until after the official reveal at SEMA.

Thought I post for those of you interested.....Sonic is done :banana: I might be bias but build came out even better then rendering. I'm sure GM will be more then happy. They saw it few weeks back half done & were happy, so this will be like icing on the cake for them with all the extra goodies. Also like to thank inm for all his help and input. I'm finely suppose to have photo shoot done on Friday (weather permitting) so I will send somes pictures to imn and he can post during SEMA next week.
