Flash to stock

Hey guys I just have a quick question. How do I flash back to stock? I need to flash back to stock to take my car in for service and inspection next week, and I'm not exactly sure as to how. Do I just take the E78 file that I read from my car at the beginning and put it in the handheld and flash that way?

Yes. E78=ECM T43=TCM (if auto). The original files you read out at the beginning are your stock files. Simply flash them back in. You shouldnt need to full flash, just a cal flash.

You should never need to unless your tuner tells you to or you know for a certain reason you need to. Just a cal flash all the time.

Well I remember the instructions said to full flash the first time but I never had an option to full flash. It was always empty, until I loaded the stock tune on it then that one was available to full flash.

If you only cal-flashed a tune, you only need to cal-flash the stock tune back in. If you full flashed the tune, there is the possibility that things were changes outside of the regular cal-flash area and can only be returned to stock by full flashing the stock bits back in.

Cool, that's what I've been doing all along, I've just always wondered since I never full flashed even though the instruction paper said to.
