You can have whatever you want, but you are taking a risk not knowing what it can handle. The stock trq converter most likely doesn't have much of a "stall" built into it operation so the lag from the EFR may be much more pronounced from a dead stop. With the manual, I can rev the engine before letting the clutch go, and get the car up into boost immediately from a dig. Without enough "stall" the auto will be forced to leave without any boost from a dig. This will make it quite lazy in the first 60 or so ft. However, once up on boost, the auto's ability to shift without disrupting boost pressure should make it pretty stout from a roll.... If it doesn't grenade.
