That's what it looked like lol just go have to get in contact with someone who can manufacture some rods and pistons and probably and intake manifold and DP I'm sure trifecta can tune me. Probably end up swapping to a m32 trans and getting a heavy duty clutch. Other than that some 42lbs injectors and I can fab up some IC pipping at my brothers shop. Should be a go

42s will max out quick. Rods and Pistons won't be that hard to get made but it would be better if you can get a few people in on sets it would cost less at the end. Nice choice on the 57trim

It looks like they have rods for the z18xe. I will measure my rod again to see if they would work but it looks like it will be $900 for rods......

I've never paid $900 for rods in my life hell no even for a piston/rod combo and won't anytime soon that's a completely unrealistic price to have anyone pay. Idc if they are new and no one makes parts I can get custom rods made for half that.

I'm sure you could get ones made half that but there stuff tends to be top of the line.
I would prepare to fork over a pretty penny for custom forged H beam rods and custom pistons w/ coating.

$900 for top notch made here rods or $500 for made in China rods. I dont mind forking over the extra cash. Sure beats the option I am looking into. Probably cost me about $2000 for the rods I really want.
When I was messing with the 2.4L in my Cavalier a set of Chinese Eagle rods were about $400 and the pistons I was using were about $750 a set. I was not aware of the Pauter rods at the time and the "cheap" piston option will never see a dime of my money again. You get what you pay for and a $550 set of bare pistons from a company that lies to customers is not worth it compared to $750 for top and skirt coated custom pistons made in a timely manner and from a company about 15 miles from my house.
All I've ever ran in my Hondas were Eagle or Manley rods and I always used Weisco pistons and for a piston and rod combo I've never given more then $850 and never had an issue period and I've put down 500hp to the wheels of a 94 hatch with an LS/Vtec. That is why I said it. I just don't see the need to spend it when rods and pistons are rated for more power than I'll spend and are back by warranties. Idk that's just me.

See, you are talking about a Honda where there are thousands of options. Right now this car is a limited market, thus prices will be higher.
Eagle is know for skimping on some things that the OEMs do for rods.. Weisco can suck a fat one. 5 Weeks of lies and BS from them before I took my business elsewhere. I ended up with a much better product for what it would have cost me to buy from the liars and then have the pistons coated.
Also,no offense but for every 10 people claiming 500 WHP from a Honda about 1 or 2 actually did it. I just laugh when I see the claim. Not saying that is the case with you,but more often than not it is. I laughed really hard the day at the track with a group of "500 HP" Hondas that were all running 14s and 15s. Traction was not an issue that day. My buddy then pulled off a 15.2 in his completely stock base model 2004 Cavalier with a whopping 140 HP at the crank.

I didn't come here to bs anyone and I'm not one of the ones who just claim hp numbers I put down facts on paper. I just have to find the old dyno sheet but it was 494hp on 23.3psi and we don't have a 1/4 here but my fastest 1/8 was 6.96 at 112 I know my facts and I know my builds. I'm sorry u had trouble with them I never did. But again I'm not trying to piss anyone off I was just stating my opinion. Sorry for ruffling feathers.
