Found this in my driveway..any ideas where it would go?

Worried? Probably not. it's a plug for a hole that isn't used.

But, you can go to the dealer and bring it to their attention.

Yeah, online their sold "by the dozen", so I think it's just a hole plug...there's no fluid(s) anywhere...
I'll give it to the dealer and let them figure it out.

I found one on my driveway also. Helpful respondents directed me to an exploded view part diagram and I found a blind hole that it fit into. I don't know if it stayed put, and probably doesn't matter. Strange that it happened to drop on the driveway in the first couple of days.

I just changed the oil in my car tonight and was underneath on my creeper looking for this plug I keep hearing about but didn't see it. Isn't the above diagram of the 1.8? The rocker arm/cam/valve cover and oil filler cap location doesn't look like my 1.4L.

Is it just the 1.4's losing this plug, or 1.8's, or both? It doesn't seem to be real important but I'm curious now because I couldn't find it for the life of me. Maybe I'll buy one and put it in my driveway so I can be part of the club.

It looks like a jounce bumper usually installed in the suspension before they are loaded on a transport truck. No need to worry...

so far nothing has exploded on my car... I think I'm safe.

Not sure on the diagaram. the part number is stamped into the top... but I wouldn't doubt there's commonality between the two engines.

We were going to pour some water with green food coloring in it under a coworkers car who refused to fix a leak and then finally fixed it a month later. We were also really thinking of pouring it under the rear of his car to really mess with his brain.
