I have read most of the threads hear regarding front end noise. But I can't find anything that comes close to mine, and I would take it in to the dealership if I had the time. Noticed this last winter, 2012, just after I bought it. When it got to -15 or colder, there is a groaning noise coming from the front end when I turned right. I attributed it to the cold, and although annoying and a little embarrassing as it's quite loud, it went away as the trip continued. After the spring came, I had totally forgotten about it. Now this year it's doing it both left and right turning, and does not go away.
It's not a strut or shock thing, as it doesn't do it when I go over bumps or potholes. It's strictly a steering thing, and it's not a squeal or a whine, but sounds like a really loud creaky door.
Anyone else experiencing this during the cold weather?
