Front End Noise While Turning

About a month ago the front end starting to make a grinding noise as if there was a high and low spot on one of the hubs while turning at speed. Not sure if it's a CV or hub as stated. Scheduled to go in this Friday 2/28. "Best part" about it was having to remove my forge BOV, Intake, 2nd cat delete and retune to save my warranty. Stock *sigh* Currently has about 26k miles 2012 HB LTZ 1.4T 6MT

I went in with the car lowered, intake, turboback, all the gauges inside and all the other bells and whistles and the dealer never said boo, they did the repairs to my suspension and that was that. They told me they never really get into it with customers who mod their cars unless the problem can directly be proven by said modification.

Because that's the law...

They have to prove the mod directly caused the problem to void the warranty. And even then it's only the part of the warranty affected by the part.

Just because it's the law does not mean dealers will not turn it In to a hassle

Yeah, I've dealt with dealers in the past which is why I do all of my oil changes, lube, filters etc. for all of our vehicles. I don't mind wrenching at all. Less worry when you take it back in stock.
