Fuel Door Lock?

I just finished plastidiping my fuel door (http://www.sonicownersforum.com/forum/t3328/), and I noticed that there is a hole lined up with a loop in the door, and I'm assuming that this is where a fuel door locking mechanism would be placed. Am I correct on this? And is this an option that Chevy offers? I have an LTZ Turbo Hatchback I bought in February.

It could be the same part that is offered on several different GM models, but as far as I know you can't get the sonic with a locker.

I saw that as well, even tryed to get it to get it to lock. It must be one of those things that will show up later. Ooo well!
