Are you talking about the air dam in the from or under rest of the car? The air dam is pretty low, if no one else chimes in I'll measure when I'm outta work later this evening.

Yeah, and its been dissuading me from considering lowering the car, but it seems consensus is that it's designed to be flexible and contact the ground, that the remaining clearance really doesn't suffer that much from lowering.
Good thing as I was running low on ways to blow money on the car!

4. And this is one i would really love to see someone get fabbed up A sheet metal intake
The last three have not been done yet and it would be another first for your ride among all the others. Those are all great places to dump some cold hard cash.

Upgraded axles are debateable. In the J body world stockaxles are proving to be a very good option over much more expensive aftermarket. Some of the guys pushing over 500 WHP are still on stock axles. I would rather snap an axle than shatter the spider or pinion gears in the diff. I think it would be best to find the limits our stock axles before spending money on "stronger" ones.

I'm still waiting for someone to try putting the Quaife LSD in a sonic as well, that would do away with "binders of cash." I'm also waiting for someone with a non-black Sonic to paint the headlight and tailight surrounds body color. I think that would look STUPID good...specifically on white and silver cars.
Tmo, when you say sheet metal intake do you mean a closed box supplied with outside air?
