That's the Forge valve.

Yes, I apologize, just wanted to get you tagged, didn't realize it was the post about switching it. Yes it's the forge one, unless there is for sure a serious problem I would rather not go through the horror of switching it back :/

Based on what you know of the valve so far, do you think it's normal or should I contact forge? You're by far my go to guy haha!

Sorry, I gave an incomplete thought. That is normal "behavior" for the Forge BOV. Ideal? Not really. Damaging? Most likely will not be an issue for you. I would not be concerned.

Sorry for bringing an old thread back, but my car recently started to do this after a long drive (500 mi). The only mod I have is an intake, and have had it on for 3 years.

I threw the stock airbox back on for a week, thinking that the cpu was tripping out and made adjustments for the long drive. I put the intake back on yesterday and it's still making that noise.

My car is a 2012, and has about 47000 mi on it. Still under warranty. The only thing is, if I take it in I have to put the stock air box back on which covers up any of the noise from the turbo, so I wouldn't have any evidence to the dealership that the turbo is having a problem. The car drives fine and no problems to power.

Any ideas or suggestions?

If you're sure you didn't drop anything inside I'd leave the intake on and go in. I still hear mine with my bov but it only does it if I shift under like 2psi

I'll have to read up on the warranty paperwork to see if it says anything about modifications to the intake. The last thing I need is for them to do is blame the problem on the intake, and not pay to fix it. There is a reason they are called the stealership...
