Any voids on the warranty if they are put in by a certified tech?

Pedders coil overs when installed by a GMPP tech do not affect the warranty. Their lowering coils, just like all lowering coils no matter who installs, will affect the shock absorber part of the Chevy warranty but Pedders, like all nationally known coil makers, has their own warranty.

Install time was 3.5 hours at Rodgers Chevrolet in Woodhaven, MI. Usual range to install lowering coils is 2.5 to 3.5 hours at your local speed shop. Plus alignment.

In keeping with parts of the earlier discussion in this thread, Rodgers Chevrolet had the Sonic for most of the day and I had one of their courtesy cars at no charge for that day. Of course, that kept me from supervising the install, but I doubt that that had any part of the reason I got the use of their car.

Look this is a very good company and to have it for 1 or 2 weeks is nothing. My sti was at tein usa for over 4 months. It takes time to design springs and make sure they work. They need a car to DESIGN them not to test them. You get free springs and in stalled for FREE. I'm was being nice and letting some one else take my spot since I'm getting another car. Never heard people complain about free stuff and to have pics of there cars online and at shows.

I sometimes am overcautious. Can you explain what their different colors for the coils mean?

Ok the thing that they offier that NO other company does is you can get them powder coated in any color you like. Also can have them done in diffarant hiegths. My boy got his car lowerd 2 extra ins then other springs so he could run bigger rims and tuk them.

If I was particularly worried about what my springs look like, I'd get pedders and powder coat them myself.

I am in talks with them just waiting to hear back about scheduling a time ... Then the hard part convincing my wife to let me do it wih only 600 miles on the car. She is extremely worriedthat i lt will destroy the warranty. So i have to have somebody at a dealership say it wont. Also hey offered me a lifetime warrenty on them since they would be first production.

Its still in limbo untill the wife okays it which will b a hard sell so .. Still probably open.
