I don't think he put his money into it either, but if he purchased the car he kind of purchased all the parts installed on/in it.

preload your car is one of a kind ATM. In other car markets, there is a plethora of heavily modified ones. I think you did t right and look forward to progress. Evryone i show my car too have never heard of it and were impressed by how quick it was and the gas mileage i get out of it.

I agree, your car is unique and I can't wait to get home and push the LTZ wheels out a bit with those spacers. They have been sitting in a box at my house for a month and a half now. Just doing nothing!

Wanted LS base model hatchback, only got LT so I could get turbo and didn't need either.
Wastefully blown money list should therefore include
$1000 LT
$700Turbo
$100 CC package
Then aftermarket wasteage begins. All amounts approximate and rounded, and based solely on my fuzzy memory.
$2 Roll electrical tape to black out bowties
$4 Roll Duck Tape for body art
$25 K&N filter (later discarded)
$15 Specter tubes to replace stock intake tube (later discarded)
$50 Backup SAB to chop, so I could preserve original part (later discarded)
$50 Ultragauge (later discarded)
$40 Bluetooth OBDII port
$5 Torque pro
$900 DDM high flow cat and catback with resonator delete from BNR
$250 ZZP intake
$25 Shark fin

Considering most men my age buy Ferarri's, I don't feel too badly about this, also, I get to spend it in small increments and get a charge out of doing it every time... compare that to the "thrill" of just making another payment on the Ferarri!
I will however freely admit that there's nothing on that list I needed and that push come to shove, maybe I didn't even need the Sonic itself, after all I could have continued driving the F150 for several more years. Add another $15K for LS Sonic HB to the wasted money list; total $23,316 unnecessary spending.

I used to rationalize with myself that i originally was going to get the ltz, but then decided on my lt instead. So ,y savings was about 3g. So it was justified in my eyes to buy stuff until i reached the cost of a ltz.
Now im almost double that and i dont see an end in sitght....
