I haven't gone to pick one up yet but it looks like the 4x100 hub of the Chevy Spark could work on the Sonic.

The majority of vehicles in this segment use a 4-bolt hub which will provide more options for rims. Also I'm building the car to a racing spec so I have to do things within a certain parameter. Trying to find racing wheels that are 5x105 is darn near impossible; however, there are more options with a four bolt hub.But. . Sonic has 5 bolt wheels. Do you really want to go down to 4 bolt wheels?

You may be right. If I attempt to switch to a four-bolt I'd have to change the brake rotors and drums which would bring me to the cost of competition rims that fit a 5x105 setup.Alrighty then. . .
I always was pleased that the Sonic had a stouter 5 bolt hub and wheels. Set it apart from most other sub compact. . . . more in the compact range.
But, yes, more choices in a 4 bolt hub and wheels. If a person must.
