Injen intake for 1.4

Ordered mine originally from auto anything and delayed shipment twice. Finally cancelled and ordered through Turbo Tech and quicker response. Shipped from Injen rather quickly, a few days I'd say. Below is a picture of mine installed. No real mpg increase but also installed the Trifecta Tune last night. Couldn't wait...

Loving it with the tune. Have not data logged it yet to dial it in yet. Should get to that this week. In the picture it is hard to tell somewhat that it is the black, not chrome tube. Almost more like a gunmetal metallic. After fueling up last and driving the way i should, lol, the computer is saying at my mpg is up 2-3 mpg vs what it normally shows. I only have about 875 miles on the odo and has been improving along the way.

I just installed my injen intake last night, my only gripe about it is the rubber coupler. Injen should have made it a little longer. Or maybe mine was a miss cut? could someone when they get a chance take a pic? it seems that i have a lot of "play" from where the intake narrows down to put the coupler over it. if this makes sense?

Put mine on on Friday. Worth it just for the sound alone. The butt dyno registered a little bump in power and improved throttle response. Not looking forward to the down learning BS.

Had no issues with fitment. However, the inside of the new pipe was covered in a fine dust, maybe from the powdercoating. And the filter had some silicon pieces floating around on the inside. Glad I checked everything, definitely dont want that crap in the motor.

IAT's were within 50 degrees of ambient air while in the city. While on the highway they were within 15-20 of ambient. Stock air box with my cold air set up IAT's were within 10 degrees in the city and 5 on the highway. Injen intake needs a heatshield BAD!
