Krypton Green?

So, after taking a break from the Sonic world and trading in my '12 Sonic LT Hatch for a '15 Silverado, I've come to the point where I'm ready to stop having an astronomical payment. I'm looking at the great deals on Sonics right now and combined with my GM Dealership Employee discount I can really help my budget by making this move(as long as I can resist modding right away). Despite taking heat from my friends and family for switching cars back to what I already had, I'm going to pull the trigger.

There is a catch, however, I've been fumbling around in the locator looking for LT Hatchback 1.4 manuals (I dont have any 1.4ts in stock at all nor do I have a manual) and what I've found is an abundance of Krypton Green and Orange Burst Metallics. With one Nightfall Gray (that is almost $3000 more because of LPOs) and one Red Hot *bleh* within 250 miles of my store.

I was a fan of the Dragon Green Metallic, but I've never seen the Krypton Green in person (my manager refuses to order the wild colors). Does anyone here have a Krypton Green hatch? In general what do you guys think of the color?

I can't really get a feel for it. I kind of like the the color tbh, but I don't want to be "that guy" and drive the most obnoxious car on the planet. I figured this may be a good topic of discussion as well.

I don't care for it as much as Dragon Green. It's very flat, almost looks like Plasti-Dip.

As for manuals, good luck. There are ZERO manual transmission Sonics for sale within 250 miles of me. No turbos, no 1.8s, no hatches, no sedans.

Same for Sparks. The only manuals Chevy dealers sell are Camaros and Corvettes, and even those are unusual to find.

There's about 15 manual hatchbacks and 3 manual sedans within 200 miles of me. but like i said theres 9 green, one gray, one red and 4 orange. as far as sedans, theres one blue, one red and one orange. but i'm not much of a sedan guy.

I looked at a krypton green with black wheels then other day with my son (he needed to walk and there was a dealer next to the store my wife was shopping at haha). I actually like it a lot better than the dragon green. It looks really interesting in the sunlight. You would definitely be seen everywhere you went though haha. My son really liked it, but he's 2, so probably not the best judge at this time.

Is that the "new" color they are pushing?? Looks like lime and not the dragon green?? It looks to close to the hundi green if it is, and ya.. its bleh..

In person, it is nowhere near as yellow as the Hyundai green. Krypton Green borderline fluorescent green.

I was at a training conference for Chevy the last two days and someone had a Krypton Green Camaro. I like the color, but it definitely needs the black accents to look right. I thought it was going to be more yellow than it is, it's just too bad it's not metallic. However, I'm the kind of guy that like bright colors... except Red Hot, I hate Red Hot. I'm probably going to end up doing the Krypton Green Hatch. People will mock me for days, but I like the color.

We bought a Krypton Green Premier Hatchback with automatic transmission in November of 2017. Just now starting to drive it. People give us positive comments on the color and black wheels. Added some black license plate frames and made for a nice accent. The 2017 end of year pricing was phenomenal.

I saw a dragon green hatch the other day, it looks really good I wouldn't mind driving either that or krypton green. The krypton is really bright, I can dig it.

... wasn't the dragon green (and the rare plum color) a promo color that also got the fun & sun package on the cheap? Is krypton the same?
