Lowering Coils Review

I will most likely go with the Pedders coils, However I refuse to pay a shop to install them for me. Having done that work before, I would rather do it myself. I also have a hard time trusting other to work on my cars.

I like that they are "approved" though.

I have seen pictures of Camaro owners at various stages of doing the install in their driveways, so I would think doing the install on a Sonic should be just as feasible. I have read it goes much easier if you have a helper but can be done solo. And if there is a tool needed you do not have, I believe O'Reilly as well as AutoZone still rents them.

I agree with doing work yourself, I'm the same way when it comes to my Vette. That's why I changed a Z06 clutch in my garage, springs should be easy compared to that.

They would be easy if they were available. Per my email with them earlier in the week, still about 90 days away from them being available.

Thanks...didn't see that post but this thread was started in May and they're still not out. Just seems like a long wait.

Pedders sold all of their first batch back in April or May. When I got my set there was only one set left, and that was April 10.
