You got it, that was me! Lol I'm usually passing Grandville around 7:50-8:00 am.

By the way, were you parked outside of Macy's at the Woodland Mall this past Sunday? Blacked out hatch, even had the rear Chevy badge removed, front badge blacked out. Parked right by it and when I came out, the car was gone, so I know the owner saw mine.

Depending on when a meet happens I'll either be in Flint or Troy, but I definitely wouldn't mid to drive a little ways for a meet.

I can only do Sundays in May. My job has me locked down Mon-Sat. Would this happen at a Sonic Drive-In like so many other meets?

Open Track Day Meet

Who would be interested in an open track day at Waterford Hills race track? About Waterford Hills

The OTD is Sunday May 25th. (Memorial day weekend) The cost is $180 for those that pre-register. I have already signed up to go. Waterford Hills is a 1.5 mile road course located on the property of the Oakland County Sportsmans Club in Clarkston, MI. map

I talked to the event coordinator and he told me if we get 15 cars, we can have our own run group. This is NOT a race, but it is a chance to hot lap your car around a real race track. Each run group usually gets 4 or more chances to go out on the track in 20 minute sessions. (I have seen some guys go out 7 times in one day.

There are several places to eat near the track either breakfast or dinner. You can bring your own lunch or buy food at the track at the grill.

The track is open even if it rains, if there is lightning they will break until it is safe to continue. So come rain or shine, lets see what our cars can do. Sign up here

Woodward Dream Cruise?

Anybody want to do a parade of Sonics up and down Woodward Ave? Cruise is (and always has been) 3rd Saturday in August. We could find a place on the south end (around 9 Mile Rd.) for breakfast or early lunch and then start heading out. Great publicity for our great little cars! I am in until traffic starts to congest. Usually gets really heavy up around 12 - 14 Mile Rds. in the early afternoon.

The Woodward cruise is for old classic cars. I'm not gonna add to the congestion with my regular ass Sonic.

I'll be at the DSM shoot out that weekend anyway.
