My Chevy Sonic is making me not like GM products

If not having routine maintenance done is in fact true, sorry to say, but the op should not expect the car to act any different. I say this from experience and messing up a car or two in my time, which is why I'm a little more anal about it now. You must absolutely do routine maintenance to keep then running right. Treat you car right, it'll treat you right usually.

I don't know for sure about the 100K warranty but I've seen many forum members report successfully using their 36K bumper to bumper warranty on a bought-used car.

I'm the second owner of my '13 RS. Bought it with 20K miles, had to replace the transmission, water pump and cylinder head. Was all covered under the bumper to bumper that transferred.

Why wait for someone to post that has used it?

I know.

But who knows, maybe there's some wriggle room in the fine print or something. There's no reason to believe there is, everyone seems to agree that this is how it works, and it's written that way... but the final nail in the coffin will only come when someone reports it did indeed work.

Check your intake hose to see if it has a rip. Saw a replacement online for $40 bucks and have a handy person replace it.... bottom at the engine sucks to get to.
