After the throttle body testing, I made a couple small tweaks, did two more pulls and found a pretty big number hiding in this little 1.4L.:banana:



This little engine is pretty unbelievable!

You need some cams/new springs still. It looks like it's just starting to shoot up again and it just drops off.

268hp at the wheels + 15% power lost through the drive train

268 x 1.15 = 308hp at the engine

The dyno sheet is HP vs MPH not RPM so the graph drops like a rock once the button is pushed to end the run. Power climbs to 6300. After that, the valve springs start to have issues.
Honestly, the cams appear to be more than adequate for at least another 500-700rpm. It's the springs that are holding me back at this point. At 7k this thing would easily be eclipsing 300whp.

Have you considered the valve springs from Vtuner? (I know there's some history there...). They are supposed to allow you to rev through 7k. Relatively inexpensive, so it might be worth it to get more power.

I think the vtuner springs are actually oem GM springs I'm checking my set right now

I'm trying to find the car they are off of. When I was checking I did notice the euro 1.4 had a different GM part number then the USA but I think it's something else
