My brother sold me his 2015 Sonic RS at a good price.

It only had 63.5K miles.

It was running a little rough but no CEL.

First I played catch-up on general maintence.

I changed the coolant.

 

[GAJoe]

Then the spark plugs.

Then the transmission oil.

Next I addressed the rough idle and found that the PCV check valve in the intake mamanifould was gone. I watched the video on how to replace the manifold and was dreading it. Then I discovered a video on installing the early CruzeKit which took me to the CruzeKit 3.4. So I installed the 3.4 kit and fixed the rough idle problem.

I found a coolant leak on the plastic coolant return and replaced it with an aluminum ZZP.

I also found the coolant charge tank leaking and replaced it.
