Make sure you read your TCM and get that file to Jerry. When you do this it will look just like it's writing to your TCM but it is actually copying the info so that Jerry can send the TCM tuning file to Vince for modifiaction for you transmission.

Oh yea way ahead of you their. Hopefully have it back tomorrow so I can send in a data log.

Sounds good deliboy, just making sure you are on point. TCM tuning makes auto transmissions drive like they should have from the factory, just like Trifecta tuning.

Just a quick update, we're going to talk to member "2012LTZ" as he bought our first Sonic 1.4T Automatic tune and from what he says it looks like the tune is not working if he switches it from D to M. But it's possible that he had his cruise control on, deactivating the tune. As soon as we hear back from him, we'll be sending out the rest of the tunes (not including wolfhound, I'm just waiting on Trifecta to send me your tune and you'll have it)

When data logging, is better to short shift into 2nd and go WOT to redline or redline 1st, shift and redline 2nd? Can BNR advise?

When I did mine I did a 0-60 wot and risked it on the interstate, short shifted to 4th then wot all the way thru 4th.

I applied my tune this morning. This little Sonic hauls now! A bit of a problem after the tune. I'll need beefier brakes and/or pads. There's no way the stock brake system is adequate with the added power. Either that or I'm spoiled by BMWs.

But there upgrade options available right now, some expensive such as the 4-pot Brembo kit and some not so expensive such as the hook rotors offered by DDMWorks, a sponsoring vendor on this forum.

Nah I don't street race. But I noticed the power causes me to notice the brakes fading more now. I'll start with a different pad when I get the chance.

If you have nothing done to your car it will probably check out good. I sent in a log to Jerry for the GS and he said until you start to add intakes and exhausts the base tune is usually spot on.

Anyone notice a small hickup or stumble around 4000 rpms in higher gears? Vince has been great about responding to me about the issue even though I think I'm mostly supposed to go through BNR for customer service. Vince said he didn't see anything abnormal in the logs, but I just wanted to know if anyone else has felt this. Vince thought maybe it was the car pulling some timing but I have been over thinking and reading about spark blowout?

I'd say check the plugs if you think it's blow out. One or two may be gapped too large
