I'm seriously considering this since the car is such a slug stock. I do have warranty concerns though.............

While the car is not going to set any land speed records in stock form, it is FAR from a slug.

DVN, a GM Tech just confirmed on his 1.4t Cruze that it is completely undetectable by the dealerships tech tools, it doesn't even show flash count change at all. Like the guy's Cruze forum post though, GM might have something that's even bigger and badder than they have but if the tech's have no suspicion why would they pass that along to GM?

If this runs for a couple of weeks before finalizing I will probably jump on board as well, just don't have the need for it right now. Kind of hard to drive a car in Florida from Japan....

the only thing i think you would have to really worry about is if they reflash the ecu with an update, but thats nothing another flash wont fix.

and pecker if you dont want yer cable ill be glad to take it off yer hands lol

Yeah, with Trifecta you wont have to worry about it, you alredy have a factory and custom tune file built together. Unlike my Diablosport inTune, if the factory flashes it back to stock tuned I have to send my handheld in to be unlocked costing me money.

1 question....can you tune the car with a MacBook? Or does it have to be a Windows computer?

EZ Flash has to run off of a PC. I think you can run Bootcamp or other software that will allow Windows to run on a partition on your Mac. I'm not really sure about all the in's and outs of that because I only have an iMac and I'm not dragging it out to the garage...

Currently I am tuning with a netbook and it tunes extremely SLOW. I am considering getting a better laptop sometime sooner than later with a better process to help with tune uploads.
