Oil pan cavity leak

Has anyone experienced an oil leak coming from one of the two holes/cavities at the bottom of the oil pan. Its an aftermarket oil pan and the holes are about 3/8" diameter. They serve no purpose and some oil pans don't even have them. I put dye in the oil to see if it was leaking from above or at the seal but all is dry except for the hole. Thoughts very much appreciated. Since everything else is dry I thought I'd just JB weld

I don't know if that's a weep hole. It could be I suppose. The funny thing about how fluid moves through things isn't always how one thinks. Just because its at the bottom doesn't mean its not actually only oil from being overfilled or something. Stuff can have inside fluid movement tracks if you will that send fluid from anywhere.

Might be best to ask the manufacturer or something. I wouldn't want to give advice to fill it in. Oil pans shouldn't leak on purpose so I'd expect something else is going on here. Buying an oil pan and then JB welding a hole in it doesn't also sound right and so I do think you will mess up your vehicle if you do that, and that it has something else happening.
