I was helping my son replace the radiator on his 2016 Chevy Sonic LTZ 1.4L Turbo when a “mechanically inclined” friend showed up to lend a hand. At some point while he was under the passenger side of the car, he removed the part in the attached picture.
Fast forward to reassembly… I have the part, but our mechanically inclined friend has apparently developed selective amnesia and has no idea where he took it from.
I’ve searched videos, looked through diagrams, and have come up empty. Does anyone recognize this part or know exactly where it goes?
If you have pictures, diagrams, or can describe the location like you’re explaining it to a golden retriever, I’d really appreciate it. I’m not the most mechanically inclined guy, so the more detailed the better.
